"I bought my scirocco in 1997 at the end of my senior year in high school. It was the best thing that I have ever done. I bought it bone stock and have done all the modifications myself. It is a 1988 16v which currently has 128,000 miles on it but is still running strong. The outside is in perfect condition and so is the inside. There are no rips in the seats and everything works very well. I drove up to Treffen in Chicago last year and placed third in the scirocco class. I was happy about that, but I thought I deserved first. I mostly like to street race my Rocco of take it down to the 11th Street Drag Races on the weekends. I would love to throw a VR6 in it, but that probably won't happen anytime soon. Here is the list of my Mods:
